Associate Member Prerequisites

To become an Associate Member, you are required to participate in one of the programs below, in which you will:

• Learn how resilient community-based neighbourhoods can help you deal with life’s demands.
• Participate in and experience effective group processes and healthy communication.
• Explore pressures and support (e.g. economic, time, health, aging, family, etc.)
• Discover the interlocking relationship between ones quality of life and one’s neighbourhood life.
• Determine how to successfully achieve our common goals.
• Become empowered.

Associate Member Programs

OPTION 1:   6 WEEK ON-LINE PROGRAM

(Fundamentals of Community-Based Neighbourhoods)

• Provides experiences for self-selecting into/out of the idea of a community-based neighbourhood, including practice with Sociocracy.
• Starts as soon as we have 10 participants. Start date and times to be determined by participants.
• Six 2hr. sessions / $60

OPTION 2:   WEEKEND PROGRAM
(CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO SOCIAL SEPARATION REQUIREMENTS)

Is a Community-Based Neighbourhood For You? (virtual edition)

• A weekend workshop (Friday evening social, Saturday and Sunday).
• $145 individual / $195 couple (refundable towards equity or associate membership)
